In the first months of our children's lives, we spend a lot of time feeding them, so back and arm pain due to poor posture and the effort of holding the baby's weight are frequent. In addition, breastfeeding often hurts in itself. Therefore, we tend to slouch our back, thus preventing a correct posture to avoid muscular pains.
At Nait Nait we have designed and tested our breastfeeding cushion until we found the ideal shape and consistency to minimize the effort and correct the posture when breastfeeding. The openness and consistency of the cushion allows it to adapt perfectly to our contour without preventing us from resting our back on the back of the seat. In addition, thanks to the design specially designed for this use, the body does not "spit" the cushion, remaining attached to it and thus facilitating the movement of the mother to adopt the baby to the most appropriate position for breastfeeding without the cushion moving.
The cushion is firm so that when the baby lies on it, his body is straight. This way we achieve the desired height so that he can eat easily and does not sink on our arm, causing his body to tilt face down (which should never happen while he is eating).
The Nait Nait breastfeeding cushion also serves as a support cushion for the newborn, since, if we lie down on it, it wraps around the baby's body, preventing it from tipping over or rolling and falling. In this sense, it is very useful because it keeps the torso inclined without supporting the buttocks, so it does not put pressure on the back and prevents the milk from leaking out due to incorrect posture.
When the baby is a little older, it can be used as a gymnastics cushion by placing it face down in the opening, as it is an ideal position for exercising the neck muscles. In addition, when the baby can sit up, it can also be used as a seat, as it supports the baby's trunk and prevents it from falling.
The filling is composed of a blend of fibers specially designed for this application and pressed to the desired consistency and firmness. The zippered outer cover can be removed for washing or replacement and all prints are 100% cotton fabrics.
